Responsible for developing the strategy and leading all aspects of sales and business development, ultimately driving profitable growth for the organization.


Achieve assigned sales objectives by building profitable business relationships with assigned customers at all organizational levels

Contributing sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews

Ensure team is executing sales activities with assigned customers through regular contact and quarterly field visits, to increase top line sales and profitability, as well as maximizing customer satisfaction.

Provides weekly, monthly and quarterly demand forecasts relative to volume vs. budget


Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Agribusiness or commensurate related experience

Minimum 8 years related experience managing successful inside sales teams

Minimum 5 years sales experience in the fresh produce industry across North America

Proven ability to build, develop, and lead high performance inside sales teams

Demonstrated success in building and maintaining relationships with customers

Proven ability to work collaboratively at all levels to create a results-driven, team-oriented environment


Positive, competitive and confident personality with strongly developed persuasive and collaborative skills

Enhanced presentation, negotiation and communication skills – both written & oral.

Ability to "close the deal" and achieve a sustainable win-win outcome

Advanced understanding of margin and profit drivers, business acumen and commercial pragmatism

Ability to effectively present information and respond to management, employee, customer and supplier queries and demands

Bilingual English/Spanish helpful

Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office and Salesforce applications

Up to 50% travel annually

Preference will be given to candidates currently living in: FL or GA. Open to other SE locations for qualified candidates.
