Acquired from Brambles in 2019 by a partnership of Triton and Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA), IFCO is the world’s leading supplier of Reusable Plastic Containers (RPCs). Sustainability and the concept of the circular economy is at the core of our business model. Our Reusable Plastic Containers (RPCs) are meant to be shared and reused for a more sustainable supply chain. We have been doing this since 1992.

IFCO is commencing a major multi-year IT transformation programme involving several IT related initiatives. To support this portfolio of change we are strengthening our Programme Management capability and looking to appoint a Finance Program Manager (m/f/d).

Key responsibilities:

  • You plan, design and deliver Finance related projects/programs and proactively monitoring their progress, resolve issues and initiate appropriate corrective actions
  • You manage delivery of relevant 3rd parties and acting as a lead point of contact for them
  • You define stage gates for Finance projects/programs as well as you manage successful entry/exit of those gates
  • You manage the project- and program budgets, monitor costs against delivered and realized benefits as the project and program progresses
  • You manage both the dependencies and the interface between the projects and programs
  • You act as an interface function between business and IT
  • You establish relationships with suppliers and partners to guarantee a qualified partner network which supports the company to fulfil the targets
  • You maintain organizational standards of satisfaction, quality, and performance
  • You set up and implement projects using standard project methods and agile methods – mainly SCRUM
  • You follow agreed IFCO governance / control standards and processes
  • You understand current and future business needs through close relationships with finance stakeholders and end users; and constantly ensure that IT is contributing to those needs

We expect:

  • You hold a university degree in economics, business information technology, mathematics, physics and / or an equivalent experience in finance, reporting and planning
  • You gained at least 3 years of professional experience in IT and / or Program Management with a focus on Finance
  • You hold a professional qualification as project manager desirably
  • You understand financial reporting and were involved in wider planning (e.g. Sales & Operational Planning)
  • You prove sound project management know-how, experience in the implementation of complex business projects and experience in the application of agile management methods
  • You show sound experience in agile frameworks (SCRUM), as well as PMP methods
  • You gained knowledge in ITIL and are experienced in Jira preferably
  • Your strength is analytical thinking combined with a proactive can-do attitude and an agile mindset
  • You have outstanding project leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
  • You are fluent in English, German and additional languages are desirable
