Support and execute initiatives designed to enhance product knowledge and expertise by applying principles of science, testing, data collection, and analysis to support revenue growth.
• Collection, compiling, organization of product-oriented data for benchmarking to support sales and business growth • Creation and implementation of testing procedures, test methods, and product standards • Ensure test results and performance data are used to improve and enhance IFCO products and new product development • Provide oversight of manufacturing, validation, and start-up of new products and solutions within IFCO • Creation and management of project plans to ensure projects are completed on time • Become reference product-centric information to support sales and operations activities
• Bachelor’s Degree in a physical science, ME/technology, or packaging, industrial design • Experience and knowledge of manufacturing processes and fabrication techniques • Minimum 3 years of experience in related position with experience in a technical, scientific, or industrial/manufacturing role involving data collection, quality control, product testing, or other technical or disciplines • Experience or education writing test methods, test procedures, and validating the methods • 25% travel
• Expertise with all Microsoft and general business productivity tools, including Excel • Knowledge of Power BI, R, JMP, or other statistical software is a plus • Solid understanding of manufacturing and/or fabrication processes • Solid understanding of fundamental principles of plastics and other engineering materials • Strong research skills, problem solving, and analytical ability • Strong written and verbal communication skills
